Practically every adult has experienced a split with an ex, at some point in their life, and nearly every time they just learn to move on. If you have the motivation then you should give it a try.
Determine for yourself why the breakup occurred. You can’t reverse things that happened in the past, but you can learn from your mistakes and grow from the experience.
The breakup might have occurred because of one specific incident, or even from the long-running behavior of your partner that finally got to you. No matter what the reason for the breakup was, you need to find out the specifics so you can learn how to deal with the situation later on.
At this point, if you appear needy or desperate it will only serve to push your partner further away. That’s the opposite of what you want to do, right? Make sure that you are confident in your actions to get them to come back to you. Even though almost everyone feels like they need to express to their ex that they cannot live without them, there is no point in telling them that. Instead, stay resolute to let your ex know that you are fine being single, and show people you are in contact with that you have the self confidence to face the life that is ahead of you.
You want him to know feel that he was the best part of your life, and that nothing can compare to what he offers to someone in a relationship. By boosting his confidence, without seeming needy, he will soon realize the two of you were great together despite the small fight or the petty differences.
Setting up a meeting to talk with your ex is the best way to sort out the problems the two of you are having. Getting back with your ex isn’t rocket science, but you need to make sure you are behaving correctly to make him realize he is better off with you.
